Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Are grab bars really necessary or just a precaution?
The CDC reports that falls are the leading cause of injury among adults 65+. A properly installed grab bar can prevent life-altering falls — it's one of the most cost-effective safety upgrades you can make.
How do you install grab bars without damaging tile?
We locate and anchor grab bars directly into wall studs behind the tile. For tiled walls without accessible studs, we use toggle anchors rated for 250+ lbs. We do not drill through decorative tile faces.
Can a grab bar hold my full body weight?
Our installations are rated for 250–300 lbs when anchored to studs. We follow ADA guidelines for load-bearing requirements on every installation.
Do I need a permit for accessibility upgrades?
Most residential grab bar and ramp installations do not require permits. Walk-in conversions that involve plumbing changes may require a permit — we'll advise you during the estimate.
Do you work with insurance or Medicare?
We can provide detailed invoices for reimbursement submissions to Medicare Advantage, Medicaid waiver programs, or private insurance. We do not bill insurance directly.
