Drywall Repair & Wall Finishing

Water stains, cracks, and holes — patched, texture-matched, and left paint-ready. You won't find the seam.

PatchedFinished

Drag the handle — that's the whole point

Scope of work

What we repair

From a doorknob hole to a whole water-damaged ceiling — patched, matched, and paint-ready.

Holes & Cracks

Doorknob holes, anchor damage, and the settlement cracks common in older Miami condos.

Texture Matching

Orange peel, knockdown, skip trowel, or smooth — the patch disappears into the existing finish.

Water Damage

Stained ceilings and soft walls from AC condensation lines, roof leaks, and upstairs plumbing.

Popcorn Ceiling Removal

Scraped, skimmed smooth, and refinished — contained so the dust stays off your floors.

Panel Replacement

When a wall is too far gone, we cut back to sound board, re-hang, tape, and finish.

The invisible repair

Your texture, matched

A patch only disappears if the texture does. These are the four South Florida finishes we match every week.

Orange peel

The light, even speckle — the most common finish in South Florida homes.

Knockdown

Soft, flattened blotches — the default in most 90s-and-newer condos.

Skip trowel

Hand-dragged arcs with open space — the Mediterranean look on older walls.

Smooth

Level-5 flat — no texture to hide behind, so the finish work has to be perfect.

Diagnosis first

Why drywall fails in South Florida

Humidity, AC condensation, and buildings settling since the eighties — drywall is the most common call we get. We find the cause and check for mold before we close any wall.

What you see

A spreading brown ceiling stain

What's actually wrong

An AC condensation line clogged and backing up above the ceiling

What we do

We clear the cause first, then cut back, patch, and texture-match — never paint over a live leak.

What you see

Hairline cracks over doors and windows

What's actually wrong

The building settling — normal in South Florida concrete construction

What we do

Flexible fill and tape so the crack doesn't telegraph back in six months.

What you see

A soft, crumbly patch of wall

What's actually wrong

Moisture got inside the panel — it won't firm back up

What we do

Cut back to sound board, replace the section, seal, texture, prime.

Repair or replace?

Not sure which your wall needs?

Most damage is a repair. We tell you which it is before quoting a scope — never the more expensive answer by default.

Repair the drywall

Most common

  • Doorknob holes, cracks, dents, and anchor damage
  • Surface water stains and small soft spots
  • Board is still firm and dry behind the mark
  • Texture-matched and paintable the same day it dries

Replace the panel

When it's gone too far

  • Board is soft, crumbling, or shows mold
  • Water damage reached the structure behind it
  • Large sections beyond a clean patch
  • Cut back to sound board, re-hung, taped, and finished

Common questions

Drywall repair questions

Can you match my existing wall texture?

Yes — that's the core of the job. We replicate orange peel, knockdown, skip trowel, and smooth finishes so the patch is invisible once painted.

Do you handle water-damaged drywall from AC or roof leaks?

Yes. We check whether the damage is surface-level or structural, look for mold before closing the wall, and finish with stain-blocking primer so the mark never bleeds through.

How long does a repair take?

A standard patch takes 2–4 hours including the texture coat, and it's paintable the same day once the compound dries. Large panel replacements sometimes need a second visit for the finish coat.

Should water-damaged drywall be repaired or replaced?

If the board is soft, crumbling, or shows mold, replacement is the right call. Surface stains and small soft spots can usually be dried and repaired. We tell you which it is before quoting a scope.

Do you work in condo buildings?

Constantly — it's most of our work. We carry a COI for building management, book service elevators when needed, and follow HOA work-hour rules across Miami-Dade and Broward.
